I have benefited from Astara’s expertise for more than a decade now. We met through her yoga classes, but due to back pain I quickly decided to book her massage therapy and private yoga training as well. I am very glad I did so - many of my achievements in life would not have been possible without Astara in my ring corner. 

I have moved to Europe now, but whenever I am back in Arizona I book massage, coaching and yoga with her. Last time I had struggled to get rid of a persistent neck pain for over 3 months, which she alleviated over 3 sessions. 

Astara is my go-to health care provider for everything, both when I am in physical pain or when I need guidance and sparring because life has thrown me a curved ball.
I have missed our sessions after moving to Europe. Luckily, we have started doing online coaching sessions with IFS as well. This therapy form is tremendously helpful if you want to practice more self compassion and find healing through making peace with the parts of you that tend to get triggered. I have for instance learned to better accept and calm my inner critic, because I now understand its motivation and good intentions for me. 

I recommend Astara to friends and family all the time - she offers a holistic perspective and sees how different aspect of our life style and life situation manifest in our emotional and physical health. Hence, she is able to take an integrated whole system’s approach in her treatments. I miss that in the traditional healthcare system that often focuses mainly on treating the symptoms, not the root cause.

After suffering from severe pain in my right shoulder for almost three months, I went to Astara to try her massage therapy.  I must say, what she did was short of miraculous. Within 3 sessions, the pain level was at less than 50%, and by the 6th session, the pain was practically gone.  Aside from her excellent massage therapy skills, she coached me into doing pranayama breathing, which in my case was very effective in relaxing my tight shoulders. Astara's knowledge of human anatomy, and all the illustrations and diagrams that she shared with me, also helped see and visualize the injured areas.  If you are suffering from any pain or discomfort, I strongly recommend reaching out to Astara.

Private Yoga

I feel compelled to express my gratitude publicly to Astara Robinson. Because of her wealth of knowledge and caring heart, I wake up free from pain and stay that way throughout the day. For a while I had lost hope that I would ever be free from pain again. Now I have no pain and feel myself getting stronger every day, physically and emotionally. Thank you, Astara. You have given me new life.Astara is a very knowledgeable and experienced yoga teacher and she REALLY knows the human body! I see her one-on-one in her home - she has a beautiful space where she sees clients. The way I learned to do yoga wasn't working anymore because I had injuries and underlying structural problems, which Astara is helping me to recognize and fix with a different practice. She is also enormously helpful in connecting my emotional and physical health. She's a gem and I'm very fortunate that [friend] led me to her!
